The Hub Pro Electric team recently completed the rough-in phase of a covered patio electrical installation project in Canton, Georgia, part of the Metro Atlanta area.
The homeowner was in the process of building a covered patio to create a comfortable outdoor living space that could be enjoyed during rainy weather as well as on hot, sunny days. To prepare the area for future lighting, cooling, and security features, a complete electrical rough-in was required before construction was completed.
During this phase of the project, our electricians installed the electrical infrastructure for several new outdoor features, including six recessed ceiling lights, two outdoor-rated ceiling fans, and one security camera with an integrated light.
All wiring was carefully routed through the new patio structure and extended into the home’s living room, where the lighting and fan switches will be installed. This layout was specifically requested by the homeowner to provide convenient indoor control of the outdoor lighting and ceiling fans.
Every circuit was installed with careful attention to safety, proper cable routing, and future accessibility, ensuring the electrical system will be ready for the final installation once construction of the patio is complete.
After the roof structure, ceiling finishes, and walls have been completed, the Hub Pro Electric team will return to install the light fixtures, ceiling fans, switches, and remaining electrical devices, completing the final phase of the project.
