Today the Hub Pro Electric team completed another challenging chandelier installation project in Alpharetta, Georgia, part of the Metro Atlanta area.
Our client had a very large and heavy chandelier that needed to be installed above a large kitchen island. Because of the size and layout of the kitchen island, we did not have direct access to the ceiling area where the chandelier needed to be mounted. This created a unique installation challenge that required careful planning and a safe custom setup.
In addition, the chandelier itself was very long and heavy, making it necessary for two electricians to work together simultaneously in order to safely hold the fixture in position while securing it to the ceiling.
To safely complete the project without damaging the kitchen island, our team purchased 4×8 framing materials from Home Depot and built a custom support platform around the island. This temporary platform allowed both technicians to safely stand above the island and work comfortably while protecting the kitchen surfaces from scratches or damage.
Once the platform was completed, both electricians carefully lifted and installed the chandelier onto the ceiling with precision and attention to detail. The chandelier had a beautiful modern appearance, and fortunately the installation was completed without any scratches, damage, or impact to either the chandelier or the kitchen island.
This was a difficult and highly detail-sensitive electrical installation project, but the professional Hub Pro Electric team once again completed the work successfully and delivered a beautiful final result with complete customer satisfaction.
