Today the Hub Pro Electric team completed an electrical troubleshooting and basement wiring repair project in Marietta, part of the Metro Atlanta area. This project was referred to us by one of the general contractors we regularly work with.
The basement had a serious electrical issue that required extensive troubleshooting and professional diagnosis. After our initial inspection, our electricians performed limited ground excavation and eventually discovered that one of the old underground electrical wires had developed a short circuit, causing a complete power failure in part of the property.
After repairing the damaged underground wiring, our team continued troubleshooting the interior basement electrical system and successfully restored power to all affected areas.
In addition to solving the main electrical issue, several switches and outlets throughout the basement were repaired, reorganized, and corrected to ensure everything operated safely and properly. At this stage, all electrical systems we worked on are fully operational and functioning correctly.
This project was actually the completion of a basement electrical installation that had originally been started several months ago by another company but had been left unfinished. Two major troubleshooting issues remained unresolved, and our electricians successfully identified and corrected both problems.
The basement project itself still has additional construction phases remaining, and once the full renovation is completed, we plan to share updated final project photos as well. For now, we are sharing a few photos from today’s troubleshooting and repair process.
Both the general contractor and the homeowner were extremely satisfied with the final result. The homeowner, who was living upstairs during the project, was very kind and welcoming, and overall this turned into another successful and positive experience for everyone involved.
