The Hub Pro Electric team recently completed a full day of residential electrical upgrades and custom wiring for a homeowner in Alpharetta, Georgia.
This project involved several different electrical installations throughout the property, including new wiring for smart home devices, lighting upgrades, outdoor electrical equipment, and troubleshooting of existing electrical issues.
Smart Toilet Outlet Installation
One part of the project involved running new electrical wiring and installing two dedicated receptacles for smart toilets. Because these modern toilets require electrical power for their advanced features, properly positioned outlets were installed to provide safe and convenient power connections.
LED Mirror Wiring and Installation
Our electricians also installed new wiring and a dedicated receptacle for an LED bathroom mirror. Once the electrical connection was prepared, the new illuminated mirror was professionally mounted and installed.
The result was a clean, modern upgrade that added both functionality and contemporary lighting to the bathroom.
Outdoor Camera Light Installation
Outside the home, our team installed a new camera light fixture, combining exterior illumination with added home security. The fixture was carefully positioned and connected to provide reliable operation while maintaining a clean appearance on the exterior of the property.
Smart Doorbell Installation
A new smart doorbell was also installed at the home’s main entrance, adding another convenient smart-home feature and improving the homeowner’s ability to monitor the front entry.
Closet Light Installation
Inside the home, we installed a small decorative pendant light in the child’s bedroom closet, providing additional illumination while adding a stylish finishing touch to the space.
Electrical Troubleshooting and Repairs
In addition to the new installations, our electricians diagnosed and corrected several existing electrical issues in different areas of the home. Each problem was carefully evaluated, repaired, and tested to ensure proper and reliable operation.
Custom Wiring Without Drywall Damage
The biggest challenge of this project was that all of the new electrical work had to be performed inside a completely finished home.
Running new wiring in finished construction is significantly more difficult than performing the same work during new construction. Walls and ceilings are already closed, finishes must be protected, and wiring routes have to be carefully planned to avoid unnecessary damage.
Our goal was to complete the new wiring without cutting or damaging the existing drywall. Using careful planning, experience, and specialized wiring techniques, the Hub Pro Electric team successfully completed the project without unnecessary openings in the finished walls.
A similar amount of electrical work could potentially be completed within just a few hours during the construction phase of a home. In this finished property, however, the complexity of concealed wiring and the care required to protect the existing finishes turned the project into nearly a full day of work.
The extra time was well worth it. All requested electrical installations and repairs were completed with clean workmanship, attention to detail, and minimal disruption to the home.
The homeowner was extremely satisfied with the final result and the quality of the work completed by the Hub Pro Electric team.
